Brake Assist (BA) senses emergency braking and automatically helps to apply maximum braking pressure if needed. To further maximise stopping power, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) sends extra force to the rear brakes when it senses additional weight in the back.

In the event of an emergency situation, ABS modulates the brakes to help the driver maintain stability and steering control as well as preventing the brakes from locking.
